Grassroof is a green roof system designed as an everyday specification for both new construction and retrofit applications on existing buildings. Offered by Bomanite Türkiye, it emphasises ease of installation and long-term performance.
The system pairs with Regarm, a recycled moisture-retaining blanket that feeds plant roots and reduces the volume and rate of water draining from rooftops. Three application types — Extensive, Simple Intensive and Intensive — ensure the right solution for every project.
Available exclusively through Bomanite Türkiye, Grassroof positively contributes to LEED, BREEAM and BASIX environmental assessment schemes — helping projects address urban heat island targets and biodiversity goals simultaneously.

When used with Regarm moisture-retaining blanket, enables shallower soil layers, reducing imposed structural load. Ideal for retrofit installations.
SIM
Simple Intensive
A mid-depth system allowing greater plant variety. Suitable for residential and small commercial rooftops.
INT
Intensive
Enables a full rooftop garden with trees, large shrubs and complete landscape design. Requires enhanced structural support.

Regarm is a recycled moisture-retaining blanket that feeds plant roots and reduces the volume and rate of water draining from rooftops. In Extensive applications it enables shallower soil layers, reducing the imposed structural load on the roof.
Particularly beneficial for retrofit projects: it greatly simplifies the process of delivering materials to rooftops, making Grassroof installation on existing buildings faster and more economical.
