Bomanite Coloring Systems permanently colour concrete surfaces through chemical reactions or penetrating dyes. Unlike surface paints, colour penetrates into the concrete and cannot peel or crack.
Part of the Patène Artectura product family, these systems can be applied to any concrete substrate — new pours and existing surfaces alike. Three distinct methods — Chemical Stain, Concrete Dye and Integral Colour — serve different aesthetic and functional requirements.

Three Distinct Systems
Chemical Stain
16 standard colours
Reactive acid-based treatment that penetrates concrete, creating permanent translucent colour with natural variation unique to each surface.
Concrete Dye
16 standard colours
Penetrating dye applied over Micro-Top or bare concrete for vivid, saturated colour. Enables detailed logo work and custom patterns.
Integral Colour
Con-Color pigment
Con-Color is mixed directly into concrete or topping for consistent through-body colour. Permanent, fade-resistant pigment throughout the full depth.
The Process
How It Works
01
Surface Assessment
Surface is ground and prepared for optimal absorption. Existing coatings, contaminants and moisture are analysed.

Chemical Stain / Dye
Reactive or penetrating colour is applied according to the chosen method. Colour penetrates into the concrete.
03
Neutralising & Cleaning
The chemical reaction is stopped and the surface thoroughly cleaned. Excess dye and reaction residue are removed.
04
Sealing
A protective topcoat sealer permanently locks in the colour. Provides resistance to traffic and environmental exposure.
